Crazy Indian Music Vid...

I think Indians can really dance... their choreography is excellent! This music vid is really funny cos' of the English lyrics... The dancing is quite good tho... Anyway, have a good laugh at the words!! Someone basically did the wordings of the songs according to what he/she heard hahaah!

Disastrous Catwalks in fashion shows...

Has anyone ever wondered how models walk in those extremely high heels, platforms or weird looking shoes? I can imagine the pain to be excruciating... The runway looked so polished that one can probably just slide down the runway...

Most designer shoes do not have much grips on the heels... so you can imagine walking in it... may just end up falling, getting sprained ankle(s), back breaking, hurt your butt, hit your forehead if you fall forwards...

Strangely, I always think that models can walk in any shoes given to them for a fashion show... I mean some of the shoes do look ridiculous to me.. They don't even look like shoes for one, and some look like they are like an ornament just for display! Can you imagine how dangerous it is for the models to wear those high heels, ridiculous looking shoes and walking on slippery. polished runways??? Yep! It's extremely dangerous!

Now do you believe me? I really feel for the models... Some people may find it amusing and funny, but to me, I don't find it amusing at all... The last model is one of the worst I feel... to think she did a full monty! Sigh! Life of a model! No difference from a stripper... just that they are paid more!

When I started wearing heels... I never thought I will wear anything higher than 2inches... Anyways, as I got older, my heels got higher... Now I can wear 4.5 inches heels but honestly, if the shoes are not comfortable, it can be quite painful... To wear such high heels (anything higher than 3inches), you must really stand straight with a good posture... it's like a balance thing... When the posture is right, the pain is not so bad! EQUILIBRIUM perhaps! I don't know really... but from my own experience, when i wear high heels, I tend to stand really straight with a good posture, and somehow, the look is better and my feet does not feel that painful!

Yesterday I had to walk in 4.5inches heels for a 1 hour bridal show. Even tho' I walked only for 2min, I had to stand for 45min, my feet almost died. The standing part was the killer... Due to the structure & design of my gown, there is no way I can bend my back or move much. It's a long tight gown with a fish tail and no slit... So you can imagine the small steps i had to take and making sure I don't twist my ankle while walking...

My thoughts on high heeled shoes... if you are not ready, start with a low heel and gradually work your way up...
