I wish I have the energy to read the stack of books I've bought... They are still sitting nicely in a pile... sigh!

I've started reading "Tuesdays with Morrie"... I really want to finish this book. It's such an easy book to read and yet I'm taking ages to finish. Think I should aim to finish it by tonight and not be tempted to turn on my dvd player to watch my Korean drama! ahahahha!!

Think I really should make it a point to read before I go to bed... I can't let my English deteriorate cos' of lack of reading hahahah!!!

What's been happening...

I've been such a slacker in updating my blog and updating what I've been doing... As you all can see, I've only been posting music vids in my blog, and that's one of my fav past time now - SURFING YOUTUBE!! ahahah!

Well, besides that, I've been really busy with work and hardly have time to do much besides work. I just hope I can take a break soon and go on a proper holiday. Sadly, I am unable to go back to Auckland for hols this year... Which I am greatly disappointed cos' it's like a yearly ritual for me. I wish I can go back again sometime soon... I miss Auckland so much!

There are many things which I plan to do here in Singapore if I don't go for holidays... Here's my To-Do-List:

1. Play squash again
2. Swim more often
3. Pick up tennis again (heh managed to get Damian to play with me)
4. Wakeboarding
5. Make accessories again
6. Exotic dance
7. Back to Jazz dance again
8. Diving

Woah! Didn't know there's so much I wanna do... I guess I've been deprived hahahaha!

Other than that... I wish i can travel more often. I'm hoping I can make a trip to Tokyo as Timothy will be heading there for a meeting, so i can bunk in with him heh heh heh! Hopefully, my trip to Canada end of this year will happen too... If that happens, I wouldn't mind popping over to New York... hmmm....

There's lots I would like to do... I need to really kick my butt and do all the above... hahahah!

Second Show with Bridal Veil

First of all, I would like to thank Michelle Hui Min for giving me the chance to model for her shows... Yesterday was my second show with them. Bridal Veil holds bridal shows every 2-3 months to let couples who are getting married to view her collection. I have to say, Michelle is one designer who is so versatile, he designs are clean, sophisticated and glamorous... I love her latest collection. All the gowns are so beautiful!

Anyway, I was one of the guest model for her show yesterday. In total, there are 3 guest models. Somehow, I have a feeling that I will be modelling in this blue cheongsam for awhile ahahah! She seems to want me to model in that only.

I'm looking forward to the next show in 6th September, there will be media coverage for that show. How exciting is that? hehehe!

Anyway, here are some pics taken from yesterday. I forgot to bring my camera, so I had to rely on the phone's camera. I will post the professional pics when they are ready and when i get them from Michelle...

Before I go, I would like to thank the crew of Bridal Veil, Michelle (who designed my gown). In Memory of my Beloved Aunty...

Last Sunday, 8 July 2007, at 3pm was my beloved Aunty Mui Chee's (Maria) funeral at the Church of St Mary's of the Angels.

It was a very peaceful service and I could feel that my beloved aunty is in peace and will rest in peace. I know that she has gone to heaven and that is where she belongs now.... I cried when her grand-daughter, Charlotte, said a few words in memory of her grandmother. It brought back only lovely memories of my aunt, how generous, gracious, caring and loving she was and always will be in our hearts...

I miss you aunty... You will always be in my heart... Memories of you will never fade away...

Just received the saddest news today...

My aunt, Mui Chee, passed on this afternoon at 3pm.

She was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer about a month ago. Well, she started feeling sick prior to that, and she was then told that she had a tumour but not cancerous by the Oncologist. So they thought it was operable. However, when they opened her up, they realised it's too late cos' it was already Stage III cancer...

Therefore, it was unoperable.

A couple of weeks ago, my parents called me from NZ to tell me this... I was saddened cos' she only had 3-6 months to live. I went to visit her 2 weeks ago, she looked frail and sad. It was heartbreaking to see her in this state.

She was my nanny when I was a kid, she loved me to bits... She pampered me to bits! I will always remember how she calls out to me, how she talks, her smiles, her laughters... I am going to miss her rice wine chicken vermicelli... I am going to miss her so much! She is one person whom I have always respected. she is one person whom I can act like a kid infront of her, and still get away with it.

She will always be in my heart and memories of her will not fade away...

Tonight, her daughter called me and broke this terrible news to me...

I broke down and cried non-stop... I can't believe I didn't go visit her again. i hate myself for that. i wish I wasn't told that she had 3-6 months to live, cos' it's all bullshit! I just wish I had gone to see her one last time...

It's too late now... I shouldn't be lamenting on it but I can't help it!

I miss you already aunty.. I miss you coming over to my place on weekends to have a game of mahjong with my dad... I miss the way you smile when i greet you... It makes me feel that you are always happy to see me. You always show that I am important.

I miss you.

At least now I know you left in peace... cos' you deserve it!

You will be missed alot...
