Found this Japanese song with English subtitles.... heh heh! Good eh! Anyway, it's called "Endless Story" by Yuna Ito. It's a nice song but I think there are other versions of this song too... Happy Listening!!

Maintaining Short Hair is Addictive!!

I can't believe that maintaining short hair can be expensive... well, first it's all the hair products! WHY?? There's the fudge, and hairspray... but sometimes you may feel that the fudge is no good, then off I go and buy another type or brand...

Secondly, my hair grows so fast, that I have to keep going to my hairstylist every 3 weeks. That's like $80 each time... woohoo! Pain to me wallet! But it's all WORTH IT!! Le Salon is stil the best so far for me! :o)

Anyway, I got my hair cut again about 2 weeks ago... this time round, my hairstylist changed my hairstyle again. It's sort of more funky, much shorter and the sides at the front of my face is assymtrical... LOVE IT! Here are the pics and you can see the red and brown highlights too :o)

Yet another all time favourite... Loved this song since I was 18 yrs old... It's a really sad yet touching song... It's a song by Jacky Cheung called "藍雨 " or Lan Yu....




Unfortunately, I've only managed to find the Cantonese version... I personally prefer the Mandarin version... I shall try to look for the Mandarin version....keke

Ok, remember the company Dinner & Dance I went to recently, the "Back to School" theme dinner??

Well, I've finally uploaded a video clip of one of my workmate in the same team as me.... she was voted the hottest person that night... Check out her dance!!

St. James Power Station

After the terrible experience in White Dog Cafe, we decided to go chill abit over coffee... we sat outside and chatted for awhile... which was nice!

Then we headed for St. James Power Station which was just round the corner... We went to Movida first... they played world music but not great! Then we went to Dragonfly... They play Cantopop! My oh my! It was PACKED in there, could hardly move let alone dance! Sly was performing even though I couldn't recognise him... I was thinking "who is this bugger screaming his lungs out???" Oh it's Sly!! kekek!

Then bumped into a workmate in there... he looked bored! hahah!!

Then we went back to Movida... band was still playing Latin music... it was ok! Then when the band finished... My oh My!! The music thereafter was unbearable! They had a mix of music from 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 20th.,.. but not in this sequence... it was more like this...

60s, then 90s, then 70s, then 20th, then 60s, then 90s... and so on and so forth... I JUST HAD TO GET OUT OF THERE...

Anyhoo, don't think I'll go there again unless they get better... hahahha

White Dog Cafe

On New Year's Day, I went to Vivo City to meet Tim, Maybeline, Jasmine and Shireen... Tim & I shopped abit first while waiting for the rest to arrive. When everyone finally got there (except Shireen, who will be abit late), we had a difficult time deciding on where we should go for dinner...

Long queues everywhere... which is annoying!! In the end, we decided to go to White Dog Cafe, cos' we didn't see a queue. But guess we were wrong, when we asked for a table for 5, they said we gotta wait fot about 15min. So we waited! After about 15min (think they really keep time, or they are very accurate in guessing the waiting time!! HAHA), we got our table...

So we went thru' the menu a few times...

Jas decided to have crispy salmon with salmon roe
Maybeline decided to have pasta
Tim decided to have Fish & Chips
I decided to have Turkey sandwich
We ordered some wedges and soft-shell crab on the side

I have to admit, the food came quite fast! And the serving is quite HUGE! That aside...

Now it's TIME TO COMPLAIN!!

My turkey sandwich... well, the portion was huge but bloody hell... who uses cranberry jam for turkey sandwiches?? It was so sweet!! terrible terrible terrible! Minus 20 points!

Jas said her dish was ok... so no points deducted... Maybeline's pasta portion was huge, so not much to complain either... no points deducted.... Tim no complaints either... that makes me the only one right??

NOooooo... the soft shell crab portion was way too small for the price... 10 points deducted....

Ok so that leaves us wih just 70 points...

So finally Shireen arrives... went thru' menu and decided on Pasta with Chunky crab... so waited for someone to come get her order... still waiting even tho we've waved many many times.... then the manager came... but took orders from next table... fine, it's ok... but before he took the orders from the table next to us, Shireen said nicely to him that she is ready to order, but guess what the Manager said??? This is really uncalled for....

Shireen: "Ya hi, I'm ready to order"
Manager (turns around): "Wait! I take order here first"
Shireen: Stunned look...
Us: Stunned look...
Manager (turns back): "Ok, yes what would you like"
Shireen: "I'd like the Pasta with chunky crab meat"
Manager: "Ok"

Minus 30 points....

Fine... it's ok.... then we all ate slowly cos' Shireen's order hasn't arrived... waited waited waited... Still waiting... wait some more.... 20min went by... still no food!! But those who ordered later than Shireen has gotten their food... so time to wave for service again... then waitress came, and we asked about the pasta that never came... Waitress: "HUH?? Pasta?? I go check"

CHECK??? WTF!!! Then later another waiter came and asked us what the problem was... then we said the pasta didn't come... so I said in a rude and angry tone "We've waited for almost 30min!!" Then the 1st waitress came back and said "sorry, the kitchen is preparing it now" WTF! Minus 30 points... That leaves us with 10 points...

When the food finally came... there weren't chunky crab meat, more like shredded non-existence crab meat!!! Minus 20 points.. that leaves us with minus 10 points...

All I have to say is this, White Dog Cafe is not worth going to, WHY?? Service TERRIBLE, Food not as described in menu... Manager DOWNRIGHT rude and not acting like a manager...

So I made a comment to ensure that the Manager hears it... "This will be my first and last time coming here... Service is so bad, food is not that great either" Not sure if he heard it, but i will stand by my principle!

So for those who may walk pass White Dog Cafe in Vivo City... DON"T EVEN THINK OF STEPPING IN!! Not worth your money and energy! Burger King tastes better hahah!!

Rating for WHITE DOG CAFE - Minus 10 points... CRAP!!

My dear friends... I've done my part in complaining... We all agreed that this place SUCKS big time... and maybe I didn' deduct enough points.. if you guys thing that I should deduct more, please let me know on my tagboard k!!

Disgraceful Singaporeans!!

I can't believe how Singaporeans can be so disgusting... and forgetting what Christmas is all about!! I mean if kids were the ones climbing up Christmas trees, snatching and plucking the teddies off the trees, i can still try to understand and forgive... BUT they were ADULTS!!! Mostly MAN!! HOW EMBARRASSING IS THAT???

DO you guys have to stoop so low for a TEDDY BEAR!!!! Where's your dignity and pride?? How much does a teddy bear cost!!!???
