Insensible kids these days...

I have to say that during this time of recession, I would expect the kids to be more sensible and understand what is happening around them, their family and friends...

Unfortunately, I have to say the younger generation have it easy now, and never gone through a hard time like our parents or grandparents... I guess we are the fortunate ones. We lead a pretty comfortable life, thanks to our parents. Having said that, we shouldn't take things for granted and expect to live lavishly despite the recession, that is if anyone in your family is affected by it.

I guess I've seen my parents getting retrenched and went through recession. That time I was still pretty young (about 11 yrs old). I used to get whatever I want, i just need to ask and I will get it. But when my parents were hit by the recession, suddenly everything tightened and I could not get whatever I want. It was easy for me and I didn't quite understand then. But now I do. Thanks to that, I have learnt not to take things for granted and expect life to remain cruisy all the way.

I wish kids out there would sit down and think through this... if your family is hit by this in anyway, try to understand your parents. It will pass over time, just hang on. It will pass :)

New Look!!

Guess trying to grow my hair to mid-length is really testing my patience and I caved in to my temptations to get it cut! Oh well, at least it's not short to the extreme! :)

I'm so glad to went to get it cut today :) I've been to Le Salon so many times and today I finally saw Kim Robinson in the salon :) 

Anyway, here's my new look! :)

How to pump more petrol??

I can't believe this couple can actually do this just to get more petrol! It really shows how some Singaporeans can go to such extremes in JB just to pump more petrol into their vehicle! Seriously, it shows the KIASU-ISM in Singaporeans! Sigh! Please don't embarrass us Singaporeans!! 

Watch this and you'd probably will laugh! I'm pretty sure alot of you drivers out there do that in JB!!

People who made my day :)

Had a pretty bad day at work today.... Actually, it's been a bad week at work FULLSTOP! Somehow, today was really bad that I had to take a breather alone and took an hour's walk... When i got back to office after lunch, 2 people changed my mood!

They are none other but my 2 wonderful I.T. guys from work! ET and Lam, thank you guys for being such sweeties! E.T actually ordered a box of mini snowskin champagne truffle & ganache mooncakes from Raffles hotel for me!! He gave that box of mooncakes to me today. they are soooooo YUMMY!!

While I was there at their cubicles, Lam offered me cream puffs and chocolate eclairs! They are so nice and creamy!

I really appreciate this guys! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! :)

Hitler & ERP Woes!!

Watch this, it's hilarious!! HAHAHA!! 

I really wonder if Singapore roads are just gonna be filled with ERP gantries within the next 5 years!! Imagine each gantries are like 5metres apart!! ahahahha!! CRAZY!!!

Only men are allowed to buy cucumbers?!?

Read a really funny article this morning. Can't believe that a country can ban women from buying cucumbers!! WHY?? Cos they look suggestive! So not only cucumbers that they can't buy, but ALL suggestive looking vegetables!!!

So what are the suggestive looking vegetables?? Besides cucumbers, there are also egg plant (brinjal), radish, carrots, bitter gourd (hmmm... all that ripples)!

I guess, it may be a good thing for the women then cos' since they can't get those type of vegetables, the men will have to go get the groceries!! So it isn't that bad afterall huh!?! Maybe other countries can start implementing this rule, and the women can sit back and relax while the men go get the suggestive looking vegetables!! HA HA!!

Wanna know which country banned women from getting these type of vegetables?? It's..... BAGHDAD!! Thanks to Al Qaeda!!
